Over my many years of providing Nutrition Therapy, I have learned how complex most people are. This led me to continue my education beyond my Nutrition degrees into various certifications, including Diabetes Education, Integrative & Functional Nutrition, and the Monash FODMAP. I have also recently completed a Digestive Wellness program in order to help with a growing number of clients with GI conditions. As an integrative nutritionist, I use assessment tools, which help me to look at clients in a more comprehensive way. Allowing a client ample time to express their concerns and ask questions is important to me. I enjoy educating as needed, whether on basic nutrition or on a more specific therapeutic meal plan. My integrative/functional nutrition background has also equipped me with access to many quality educational materials, which I provide to my clients. I often encourage small, doable changes, which typically lead to noticeable improvements over time. I make myself available between appointments for clients to check-in with any questions/concerns or to report changes. I derive so much satisfaction from helping my clients move from where they are towards achieving their health and nutrition goals.
